Obituary for Tracy Sue Martin (McNealy)

Tracy Sue Martin, 58 years old, of Cannan, Connecticut, formerly of Pampa, passed away Monday evening, June 28, 2021, at Pampa Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 15, 1963, in Vandalia, Illinois to Roger McNealy and Carol Quayle Neil.

After attending Pampa schools for a portion of her education, she then went on to receive her associates degree as a paralegal. On February 11, 1981, she married Mark Martin and they had two children together. Unfortunately, as often happens, Mark and Tracy chose separate paths after 25 years of marriage.

Being a typical introvert, Tracy was characterized as very shy, quiet, reserved and often times preferred solitude to crowds of people. Polar opposite of her twin, Teresa, she loved being outdoors in the sun and especially on a sandy beach. She was laid back and easy going – just rolled with the flow and preferred to keep things extremely simple. Tracy recently learned to play the guitar, she crocheted, enjoyed cruising in her jeep and thoroughly loved her cat, Jackson. Her loving, caring and good-hearted nature will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her stepdad, Joseph Neil and a nephew, Jason Woodward.

Those left here to remember her are her father, Roger McNealy of Cannan, CT; mother, Carol Neil of Pampa; daughter, Taunua Rene Martin of Cannan, CT; a son, Robert Houston Martin of Corpus Christi; sisters, Marsia Lynn Allard and husband Chuck of Cannan, CT, Teresa Ann Perry (Tracy’s older twin sister by 7 minutes) of Kernersville, NC, Angie Williams and husband Chris of Thornton, CO, Debbie McDonald and husband Robert of McLean, Sonya Sweeney and husband Jeff of Pampa, Toni White and husband Shane of Tecumseh, OK and numerous nieces, nephews, and even great-nieces and great-nephews.

Staying true to her quite simple and reserved ways, the family has decided to honor Tracy with a small private family celebration. They have entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
