Obituary for Lorri Beth Jackson (Ramsey)

Lorri Beth Jackson (Ramsey)
Lorri Beth Jackson, 66 years of age, of Pampa, Texas left her earthly home to spend eternity gazing at her Savior’s splendor on Friday, November 26, 2021, at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. She was born one of eight children to Bobby and LaWanda Ramsey in Plainview, Texas on September 29, 1955.

In 2000, Lorri moved from Amarillo to Pampa and shortly after getting settled into her new life and home, she went to work for United Supermarkets as bookkeeper. As a testament to her hard work ethic as well as her loyalty, she had been employed with them for going on 22 years. When she wasn’t working, she found solace through reading books, sewing, traveling with her sisters to see the Texas Rangers, playing Yahtzee, dice, or card games and on occasion, she even enjoyed her alone time.

As one with a humble soul, kind heart and loving nature, she made an impression and touched many lives. Her selfless attributes always put others needs in front of her own and quite often, she did without. Family was extremely important, and she loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and cherished her time spent with them all; however, her love for the Lord was her highest priority even until her last breath. Her quick wit, honesty and loyalty will be missed by the many who knew and loved her.

Lorri was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mike Ramsey.

Those who remain behind to remember her love are four children, Michana Baca and husband Frank of Pampa, Brandt Oquin and wife Dana of Perryton, Braedon Oquin and wife Emily of Ada, OK, Brianna Freudenrich and husband Ryan of Pampa; brothers, Tim Ramsey and wife Margie of Powell, TN, Kyle Ramsey and wife Stacy of Paris, TX, Cory Ramsey and wife Kendra of Amarillo; sisters, Traci Aylor and husband Claude of Amarillo, Karri Haberthur and husband Mel of Perryton, Juli Lowman and husband Ken of Paris, TX; 13 grandchildren, Austin Oquin, Kristian McKnight, Tylar Oquin, Tatum Oquin, Rylan Oquin, Kyle Oquin, Clay Oquin, Brady Oquin, Matthew Oquin, Koulter Freudenrich, Eli Freudenrich, Hadyn Beth Freudenrich; three great-grandchildren, Katelyn Anderson, Kylea Anderson, Graysun Anderson and a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Highland Baptist Church, 1301 North Banks Street, Pampa, TX with Brother Paul Nachtigall and Brother Wes Stevens of Fellowship Baptist Church Perryton, officiating. The family has entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.

If donations are a preference, the family suggests they be made to her church home, Highland Baptist Church, 1301 North Banks Street, Pampa, TX 79065 in her memory.
