Obituary for Kimberly Nichole "Nikki" Guenther

Kimberly Nichole “Nikki” Guenther, 37 years of age, of Pampa, Texas, passed from this life into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in Pampa. She graced this world with her huge presence on December 3, 1984, in Pampa to Steven and Leslie.

Nikki was primarily raised in both Pampa and White Deer and attended White Deer High school. Donning an overly huge heart, smile and personality, Nikki literally demanded attention when entering a room. She was the epitome of fun and if the atmosphere wasn’t fun – she made it that way! Her rambunctious attitude served her well in her chosen profession. As a bartender, you could count on her to make your time in her establishment fun, so much so that customers became family and her wit, and infectious laugh will be missed by many who crossed her path. You never had to guess what Nikki was thinking, she would tell you straight out. A human chameleon, she could go anywhere and feel right at home.

If there was anything constant about Nikki, it was change, her hair color or her bright nail polish were just facets of her never-ending joy in getting people’s attention. If there was an adventure on the horizon, you can bet she would be the first one to gather people around to head out and see what could happen. Vacations at the lake with family, jumping in a car and seeing what the next town offered, and even just hanging out at home could be memorable with her around. She could even make computers fun and was quite the technology guru. She was an awesome sister, and her siblings adored spending time with her. As a mom, she was loving, fun and fiercely devoted to her girl.

If you could find a quiet moment with Nikki, it would most certainly be when she was with one of her beloved pets, and there were many thru the years. Horses, dogs, cats, and rabbits, they were drawn to her and just knew she was the one to love them back.

Her arrival was anxiously awaited by her great grandparents, A.W. and Ferline Calvert, George and Birt Hancock, and John R and Julia Davis, as well as paternal grandparents, Vicki Spencer and Pat Guenther. Nikki was a bright light in their lives and her time with them was precious and gave her many happy memories.

Left here to cherish her memories and chuckle at her many shenanigans are her parents, Leslie and Beau Huddle of Pampa, Steven and Gayla Guenther of Justin, Texas; maternal grandparents, Derrel and Judy Davis of Pampa; only child, Austyn Davis of Pampa; brothers, Clint Woods of Amarillo, Dereck Guenther of Lincoln, NE; sister, Lindee Guenther of Justin; nephew, Slayton Woods of Amarillo as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family.

Nikki will be available for paying final respects on Saturday, July 9th from 9am until 8pm and again Sunday, July 10th from 1until 8pm with a Gathering of Family and Friends Visitation from 2 until 4 at Winegeart Funeral Home, 303 N. Frost Street.

Celebration of Life Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2022, at Highland Baptist Church with Brother Jim Sinyard officiating. Cremation will follow services. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home. Those honoring the family as pallbearers are Cliff Davis, Duane Davis, Ricky Davis, Dereck Guenther, Lindee Guenther and Nathan Davis. Honorary pallbearer is Derrel Davis.

Should you prefer to make a donation in honor of Nikki, the family suggests they be made to Pampa Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), P.O. Box 2095, Pampa, TX 79066-2095.
