Obituary for Karl Wayne Crow

Karl Wayne Crow, 62 years old, of Pampa, Texas, passed from life on November 18, 2022, at his home. He was born on October 3, 1960, to William Crow and Monika Crow Hunt in Germany.

Karl and wife Anita had lived in Amarillo and Lefors prior to moving to Pampa approximately 10 years ago. He overcame many obstacles in his journey and although he was on disability due to a tragic accident, he never passed up on the opportunity to hustle side jobs to earn a little extra money. He was an avid scrapper of anything he could salvage.

Always wearing a smile backed up with an amazing attitude, Karl had the ability to turn any situation into something to laugh over. He enjoyed seeing others happy and smiling and was always willing to help others in order to achieve that. When given the opportunity, he would supply food, warmth, and shelter to those who might need it.

Karl’s positive attitude, kind-hearted nature, generous heart and fun-loving aura will be missed and loved forever.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Monika and Fred Hunt and father, William Crow.

Those left to remember his love and laughter are his wife, Anita Sanderson of Mineola, Texas; stepdaughter, Alyssa Carpenter and spouse Shelby of Coolidge, Arizona; two brothers, Terry Crow of Texas, Jerry Hunt of Amarillo and two grandchildren, Serenity Carpenter and Stetson Carpenter.

For those who would like to make a donation in Karl’s memory, the family suggests they be made to The Carpenter’s Church, 639 Barnes Street, Pampa, TX 79065.

Family and friends will be hosting a Celebration of Life Remembrance honoring Karl on Thursday, November 24, 2022, from 6 to 8pm at 930 Finley Street, Pampa while gathering around Ray's firepit telling many favorite "Crow" stories. Dress WARM as this will be outside by the fire. Please bring chairs if you have them.
