Obituary for Jane Y. Lowe (Yake)

Jane Y. Lowe was born as Claudia Rose Conaster in Claude, Texas on June 5, 1929. She went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ and her beloved Daddy on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the age of 92. Jane spent her younger years in Stinnett, Texas. During her elementary years, she moved to Alanreed, Texas. She was later adopted by her uncle, Albert Yake, who she called Daddy all her life, and who called her Jane. She eventually legally changed her name to Jane Yake. At the age of 16, she, and her boyfriend, Dub Bowen, took a trip to Wheeler, Texas with another couple; the two couples decided to get married. That was September 17, 1946. She finished high school in McLean majoring in journalism. Two beautiful girls were born to this marriage, Donna Lynette and Aleyce Dynette. After life changed for her, she went to work as a single mom for the Pampa Daily News. She married again on January 14, 1961, to Roy Lowe. One beautiful daughter was born to this marriage, Tamara Gaye (Tami). Together she and Roy, raised their blended family of 6 children, Donna Lynette, Sherry Lynn, Alyece Dynette, Tricia Nell, William Edward (Eddie), and Tamara Gaye. She was a loving grandparent to all the grandkids. After all the kids were grown, she worked for several years for the gas company. Afterwards, she began working for Oliver Huffines. Upon Oliver’s retirement, she worked for Creel Grady until 2012. She was also an accomplished pianist who played mostly by ear.
Jane was a sweet servant of God. She was the church treasurer at Fellowship Baptist for many years as well as a Sunday School teacher and nursery keeper. She spent countless hours sitting with the elderly and sick during their time of need. Most of all, she was a devoted Christian and a precious prayer warrior.
She had a keen sense humor and loved being with her loved ones. She had a quick wit, could quote poetry and scripture like no-one else.
Some of her sayings:
*If there is something you can do about a situation, do IT!
*There is a whole heap of consolation in knowing when you have done all you can do.
*We believe once saved, always saved. Not once shaved always shaved.
*Hup 2, 3, 4!

She always said she was prayed up, packed up and ready to go... to heaven that is!

Her favorite scripture was:
Romans 8:37-39 King James Version (KJV) 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rose Yake; her birth father, John Conatser; seven brothers and sisters; husband, Roy, and two daughters, Aleyce Dynette Neil and Tricia Nell Lowe; two grandsons, Nicholas Edward Hild and William Joseph Neil; two granddaughters, Glenda Renee Neil and Kari Diane Faulkner, and two sons-in-law, Fred Hild and Virgil Neil.

She is survived by four children, Donna Hild, Sherry Singleton, Eddie Lowe and his wife, Bobbye, Tami Faulkner and her husband, Terry. She is also survived by grandchildren, David Hild, Mike Hild, Greg Glover, Kristi Taylor, Linda Vanbuskirk, J.R. Neil, Dotdee Neil, Beth Gentry, Stacey Hutton, Dusty Bradstreet, Tara Shorter, Brandy Bradstreet, Andy Lowe, Matthew Lowe, T.J. Lowe, and Jordan Stamps.
