Obituary for Fay Lowry (Kissinger)
Fay Ellen Lowry, 72 years of age, of Pampa, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, in Amarillo. She was born on August 19, 1949, in Battle Creek, Michigan to Stanley and Eleanor Kessinger.
Pampa became Fay’s home after moving here about 18 years ago from Amarillo. She and her husband, David, would work together cleaning out grease traps for local and surrounding businesses. Following David’s passing, she maintained her outgoing personality and even became more of a social butterfly. She enjoyed shopping, catching up with friends and playing bingo with her apartment complex neighbors.
Fay was preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents; siblings, and a son.
She is survived by a son, Michael Rose of Pampa; daughter, Elizabeth Rose of Pampa; eight grandchildren, Aaron, Christopher, Hailie, Megan, Kelsey, Jeffry, Katelyn and Olivia as well as a daughter-in-law, Ann Rose of Pampa and a special friend and caregiver, Jerry Simpson of Lefors.
The family has chosen to celebrate their loved one in private. Ms. Fay’s cremation care has been entrusted to Winegeart Funeral Home.
