Obituary for David "Fuzzy" Sinches
David Sinches, 67 years of age, of Pampa, slipped from this life into eternity on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at BSA Hospice in Amarillo. He was born on July 24, 1954, to Mary M. Sinches in El Paso, Texas. His mother bestowed the nickname “Texas Fuzz” on him as a youngster and from then on, he was lovingly referred to as “Fuzz” by the remainder of his family.
He was a lifelong resident of Pampa as well as a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Having a very loving and caring nature, David took great comfort in helping others in any way that he could. His talents as a handyman were certainly a blessing to those who benefited from his labors of love. David also used his talents to restore and put life back into classic old cars.
David wasn’t one to be shy, and honestly, when he walked into a room, his presence and upbeat personality was known; however, he was not an outspoken individual. His large presence and quiet stillness will be missed by those whose lives he’s touched.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary M. Mack; maternal grandmother, Mary Sinches, and his Aunt Ada Murry.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories a son, Christopher Yates (Kara); stepfather, Robert Mack, Jr. (Blondell); a brother, James A. Mack all of Colorado Springs, CO; cousins, Charlie Walker, Jr, Tommy Lee Murry (Pat), both of Pampa, Arthur Williams (Lisa) of Dallas, Judy Evans, Bobby Randall, Delana Sanchez of Colorado Springs, and three grandchildren, Jonathan, Thomas and Sariyahlela; and a host of other cousins and friends.
David will be available to pay final respects one hour prior to services from 10 until 11 a.m. with Celebration of Life Graveside services beginning at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2021, at Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum with Pastor Wesley Smith officiating. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
