Obituary for Clara "Lorraine" Ritchie

Clara "Lorraine" Ritchie
Clara Lorraine Ritchie, 59, of Pampa, was born November 3, 1960 and decided to rejoin her birth family on March 17, 2020. She was the youngest of nine children and a daughter of Paul and Bertie Rudolph. She moved from Kansas to Texas where she met and married the love of her life, Glenn Ritchie. She was an accountant by day and a bartending waitress by night. She managed the coffee shop in the former Coronado Inn for two years where she was lovingly known by many. Lorraine took much pride and joy in serving the Altrusa members as well as the Rotary club. She walked fast, held a smile and took great pride in caring for people. She would do without, in order for others to have. She was the machine shop coordinator at National Oilwell Varco for three years and loved that job as much as one could love a dream job. Unfortunately, she retired early due to health problems. Her fight was long and hard, but if you knew her, you know she gave it all she had. Her absence has left an unfillable void.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Glenn Ellis Ritchie; her son Jessie Salley; a sister Hazel Whan and two brothers, Mike and Ernie Rudolph.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, three brothers and two sisters.

Celebration of Life Memorial services are pending at this time. The family has entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
