Obituary for Bunnie B "BB" Reeves

Bunnie B. “BB” Reeves, 63, of Pampa, Texas, joined Jesus as a Fisher of Men on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, while peacefully resting in his recliner at home. He was born on October 15, 1958, in Pampa and welcomed by his parents, Bun and Ruby Reeves.

While growing up, he attended Pampa schools and later began working for Pampa ISD where he retired after 20 plus years as the Maintenance Supervisor. BB was definitely not afraid of hard work, nor did he shy away from new skills. This mindset led him to be a versatile “Jack of all Trades”. He completely gutted his house and painstakingly rebuilt it to suit his needs. Enjoying hands-on work, BB was a wood craftsman and loved to build furniture for family, including a cradle to rock his precious grandbabies to sleep.

Blessed with being able to accomplish most any task he set his mind to, BB was an amazing cook, which donned the nickname so lovingly bestowed him by his daughter, “Chef Boy R BB”. He could cook like no other and was always willing to share his knowledge when asked. Another of BB’s favorite pastimes was fishing which undoubtedly led to a big ol’ fish fry!

He was one to quietly sit back for a bit, assess a situation, then divulge his uncanny wisdom. He was very open, accepting, and a straight shooter with the utmost selfless and giving soul one could imagine. He married his best friend, truelove and confidante, Michelle Annette Arnold on April 1st, 2011, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and they had just recently celebrated their 11th anniversary. Their two separate souls were always in sync, aligning them in a perfect balance. BB will be missed by so many whose lives he has touched.

Those who preceded him in death are his parents; sister, Wynetta Reeves; brothers, Wayne Parr and Roy Parr.

Loved ones left to remember his presence are his precious wife, Michelle Reeves of Pampa; son, Taylor Reeves of Amarillo; daughters, Jessica Norris and husband Curtis of Sapulpa, OK, Tristen Givens of Lubbock; sister, Doris Marie McCunn and husband Jack of Denton; nephew, Zack Parr and wife Jennifer of Pampa; cousin, Jim Reeves of Pampa; nine grandchildren, Kennedy and Jackson, Braelei and Tarah Givens, Paityn Sue, Paislee Michele, Paxton Cole, Bayleigh Norris and Bentley Norris.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering at the Reeves Family Home, 923 East Browning Avenue, Pampa, Texas on Friday, May 20, 2022, come and go beginning at 1:00 p.m. They have entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.

For those who wish to honor BB with a donation in his memory, the family has set up an account at Pampa Teacher’s Federal Credit Union, Acct # 0000052016, in the name of Michelle Reeves to help her continue raising their two granddaughters, Braelei and Tarah, in BB’s absence.
